I had always found it ironic that a male-oriented country like Pakistan would elect a woman as their leader before America would, but now they've evened their slate by blowing her up. But before we in the ever-so-advanced United States get up on our high horses about "backwards" societies, remember that our current Presidential election is still featuring serious discussion about whether Americans even
would elect a woman as President.
Sickening.

Haven't watched TV. Didn't know they'd blown her up but not surprised.
The world's always been mad if you think about it. The human race only gets on really well when we're having a world war. It's like we agree one lot are the loonies and join up to eliminate the loonies. Whenever this happens we get on fine.
We are very strange.
I was saddened to hear about it, but not at all surprised. It is scary though because the whole place is one big riot right now. Hope someone is keeping a close eye on those nukes.
My fear now is that the Master Ferret Bush will again start shining about attacking someone in the Middle east. Four Dinners is right humanity is very strange.
You are SPOT-ON, Colonel! I remembr thinkin much th same thing, long ago, about how unbelievable it was that a women was elecktd to a leadrsip position in Pakistan, of all places, and not assassinatd while in office.
While we press ahead in certain respects, we slide backward in othrs. That probly means weere in a whirlpool, and about to go down th drain.
That was the first thing I saw today when I fired up the browser.
Made me wish I'd stayed in bed. Humanity can really suck some days.
Sad, but I'm surprised she didn't die on day one of the homecoming.
I hadn't heard. What insane world we have!
Abraham Lincoln.
John F. Kennedy
Martin Luther King.
Robert Kennedy.
George Wallace.
Oklahoma City.
The world has not gone insane, Colonel, it just continues its insane whirl.
RIP Madam Bhutto, she was a powerful voice and a MILF. There goes the Pakastani neighborhood.
I have to say that it did not surprise me either, but there was always the thought that there might be one leader in that part of the world who would not get blown up, shot, spindled, folded or mutilated. Apparently I was wrong. Not that we're doing a lot better over here, of course.
she was nuts to go back. india and pakistan have long histories of assasinating their leaders, mushareff probably had it done
I don't understand that part of the world. I would say not many do. It is sad to think that the only thing that can make people happy is by blowing up someone who doesn't have the same ideals as you do. Very sad.
