Fourth of July Concert-

Everybody grab a beer, pull up a seat and think about whether you want a hot dog or a burger!

Gotta start the concert with this one, one of my favorite songs about America. Sing along!

Now we're going to change the pace up a little, just to make all our friends from down south feel at home, y'all!

Are we rockin'? If anyone needs another beer, help yourself, the cooler's full. All right, how about a little Johnny Cash-

You just can't have a 4th of July "Happy Birthday America" concert without playing The Boss, but which song? 'Born in the USA' seemed too predictable, but then I thought of this, in honor of Mama Marie, who died this week-

And, of course, we have to end with the great Ray Charles-

Damn. That's Bruce at his best as far as I am concerned. Brings back a ton of memories.

Thanks Colonel.

This is why northerners can't use the word "ya'll". It's not "y'all", as you would think, but it is, in fact, "ya'll".
Come on! And don't use the word "folks", either! That's a Southern word, too!

Mike: You're welcome- it's hard to beat early Springsteen, isn't it?

Catalyst: And thanks for coming up with that Ray Charles video!

Beach: No, no, sing along!

Sara Sue: It was far too wet to start fires here last night, whch I think is the only reason we didn't manage to burn down the entire town.

Malach: I know, I know, but he's everywhere.

Cissy: Well thank you!

AngryMan: Aha! Point taken on the ya'll thing. Folks, though, I remember my grandparents from Maine using that one.

Good stuff all. I use y'all whenever I need the second person plural in English. I pronounce it as "yawl".
