Boobs, Bikinis & Saturday Night Fever

All of Blogland is atwitter that Spring is finally here, though for many of us you can't really tell, because it snowed at one point or another this week. Our own scene here in Happy Valley is a little Springish- we're down to about 50% snow-cover and we seem to have some decent weather coming in this week. Maybe I can get out and do a little yardwork.

My friend Mike is having some medical issues right now, and to cheer him up some of his fellow-bloggers have been posting pictures of boobs. Now, of course I don't have any such pics on my computer, so I went over to Google to find some pics Mike might like, and I typed in "Boobs" and up pops this-

Hmmm. technically that's right, but it wasn't quite what I was going for, so I typed in "REAL boob"-

sigh.

Since Google wasn't helping, I looked around my computer again and found a few things that sorta qualified.

How about some cloud boobs?

A nice string bikini?

Wait, wait, I think I'm on the right track now...

Of course, there's always my duct tape file-

What the hell, let's just try some classics. How about Veronica Lake?

Things seemed to be going better, so I looked for "cleavage" on my computer and out popped Kim Novak-

When I tried a "cleavage" search on Google though, the results were a bit more disturbing-

You can never go wrong with Sophia-

And, for those who came here expecting something about books-

I suppose in the end it's best to look to those you can always rely on, so here are Catherine and Audrey-

And now on to Saturday Night Fever-

'Scruffy the Cat' was one of Boston's most popular bands in the 1980s, and this video gives you a good idea why-

Sadly you had me at Boobs!

Good thing I kept going because they seemed to pop up here and there and everywhere in this post!

Funny, for a completely different reason I typed in "Small brained bird" on Google and got the same picture of the turkey(feathered kind) and Bush. I got a two for one.

I never knew books could be so hot.

What frelling cartoon is that? Also, I wish I could go back in time, steal (and drill) Veronica Lake, and bring her to the future so she could star in pornos.

Malach: When Googling Boston Bands of the 80s I am struck by how many i forgotmyself.

Kelly: Boobs is the Universal Tag, isn't it? Glad you enjoyed it!

Dinners: Save me a seat! I have some, um, "reading" to do.

MI: Don't feel bad. ,any of the rest of us don't remember much of them either...

BB: "Turkey", "Moron", Brain-dead"- they all come up with the same photos. How odd.

C.Rag: I've been saying for years that books are a lot more exciting than most folks think they are!

Angryman: As God is my witness, I do not remember where that cartoon pic came from. I know it is from an email list that Phoebe and I are on, so maybe she can shed more light on it.

Mike: Better late than never- I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as i enjoyed, um, "researching" it. Yes, that's it. Gotta go do more "research".

You're braver than I am. If those initial photos had come up when I was searching for boobs for mike, I would have just shut the computer off and hidden myself in the bathroom for a few hours.

I think the first two pictures had the biggest boobs. I didn't say the nicest...only the biggest.
