No, really-

Congress is getting thousands and thousands of outraged calls and emails AGAINST this scandalous, illegal bailout for Wall Street NeoCons. You REALLY MUST EMAIL OR CALL YOUR CONGRESSMAN NOW, AND TELL THEM "JUST SAY NO!!!"

I feel like the village idiot when it comes to this stuff. One hand tells me that this is a STUPENDOUSLY bad idea - that the government shouldn't be bailing out private companies (free market economy, anyone?). Don't even get me started on this whole "no oversight" bullshit. The other hand tells me that if these huge companies collapse, the fallout will be MUCH worse - for you and me and damned near half the world's economy - than the plan to bail them out would be. HELP?!

I dunno- I'm emailing all my senators and reps, and telling them to vote NO. The change in direction from international bust to American recession bothers me. They just want us to pay them for failing.

Let's tell them, VOTE NO and see what the fuckers dare to do.

The plan lacks any and all accountability and that is the main reason I am opposed to it. Those fags on Wall-Street should have to account for each and every penny.

Here's what's even worse: people are still going to vote for Republicans. Jesus effing Christ, what in the world is wrong with these people? After this, you would think that McCain's poll numbers would have gone to zero, but they haven't.

I went to a farewell speach by our company CEO, who is retiring soon, and he said America needed to hit bottom. That's the only way we'll survive. And I believe him.

I am with the no voters.

Did you ever notice how odd looking the word "farewell" is?

Already made my calls.

Was listening to NPR coming home and heard a report stated even though Congress was up to their nasty eyeballs in calls saying the CEO's who ran their companies into the ground should not get any "golden parachutes" or any sort of huge sums of money as they leave the wreckage that with the high priced lawyers the CEO's have they more than likely still would.

Our marmalade is going to go to pay for Wall Street CEO's for the next 40 years.

I hear calls are coming in 100 to 1 against the bailout. So, could you just send me the money instead? I'll even share some of it with Mike.
