Just Give Me Some Shoulder Pads-

I don’t care what anyone says- the 80s were a lot of fun. And 10 bonus points for being able to name the movie this song was featured in (50 bonus points for being able to describe the scene).

The 80's so weren't my decade. You can have your shoulder pads. Just give me some ripped up bell bottoms and a pair of aviator sun glasses.

of course they were fun, we were all high, if not X, then on hairspray fumes.

Footloose? But that's just a wild guess.

Yes, yes, Footloose. The specific scene involves Kevin Bacon and a pair of tractors...

So easy, Footloose...I was so love in love with Kevin Bacon after that movie....what can I say, I was a teenager. :)

And yeah, the 80's were awesome.

That movie starred Lori Singer as the female lead, and she was just off her big hit in the TV series Fame. Nobody seems to have heard of her since. Footloose also starred Sarah Jessica Parker as her best friend, the first time I'd seen SJP, and I immediately fell for her (don't get the wrong idea, we are both the same age). People can say what they want about SJP, she's hot.

Also Shrek II which isn't the 80's.

Also the theme music for a short run series called 'Cover Up'. Some'at about fashion and spies I think. The original bloke commited suicide after the first series - which wasn't a surprise 'cause it was shite and somebody else did series 2. I think they called it a day after that.

Jim Steinman did right here. Old Meaty would have been an odd choice for this one ;-)
